There's a little slice of Portugal tucked away on Worcester Street in Ludlow, Massachusetts. A neighbor of the sprawling Ludlow Mills complex, it's decidedly off the proverbial "beaten path." Owned by Manuel and Maria Mateus since 1987, the Mateus Family offer quality service and quantity of food. It features one of the largest wine selections in Pioneer Valley. The menu at Mateus does homage to Portugal's seafaring heritage by offering popular dishes.
Aside from the restaurant side, the lounge is arguably the largest bar in Ludlow. Just dropping in for a quick lunch - stop by the lounge and enjoy a great meal while watching your sports team.
